Conditions and Rules for Participation:

1- All participants should fill in an application form (downloaded from www.laaps.org ), and send it to

visualarts2010@hotmail.com

2- Artists should be residents of Lebanon only.
3- Every participants should present a maximum of THREE works (with the application) BEFORE 20th OF AUGUST, 2010
4- In case of a positive response, the jury will contact the participants before the 30th of August, and accepted participants will be notified of the date of delivery of their works in the UNESCO Palace – Beirut.

5- At the date of delivery, participants should present a CD containing their works in high resolution (for the catalogue).
6- Works sizes: Minimum of 80x80 cm and Maximum of 200x200 cm (painting and photography). All sculptures and installations’ sizes are accepted (big sculptures can be exhibited at the entrance or the garden)
7- Videos and Neo-Media are accepted.
8- All works should be well packed and containing good labeling.
9- All LAAPS participants should pay a 40,000 LL participation fee.
10 - All NON-LAAPS participants should pay a 100,000 LL participation fee.
11 – There will be a special room for young experiments, and there will be awards for the top chosen by a jury composed of art critics.

> 01/09/2008. Gebran Exhibition
The LAAPS organizes, with the collaboration of Gebran Khalil Gebran's commettee, an exhibition at Bcharreh (the Gebran's village) at Gebran Museum. This event is for the occasion of 125 years after Gebran was born.

Around 70 works of painting and sculptors are exhibited. The works cover multiple art movements and generations from today's art in Lebanon.

Date: 6-16 September 2008
